Hi all, We at Almast Reiki,  love to start all our lectures and classes (even the technical ones …..!!) with an amazing story about a Kalpavriksha Tree. We could not think of a better way of starting our posts…….

There was a man who had been travelling for many days and was quite tired. He saw a big tree and decided to rest under it. He did not know that the tree was a Kalpavriksha tree, a tree which fulfills all wishes.

After his tiring journey, he was quite hungry and wished for some food. Along came a family with surplus food and offered to share it with him. He had a lavish meal and hoped for some cool water to drink. Two travelers carrying a large camel skin bottle full of cool water stopped by. They drank water and offered him too.

Hunger and thirst satisfied, the man lay down and started thinking how good it would be to have a bag full of gold coins. Almost immediately, he saw a man with face half covered, running for his life, followed closely by the king’s soldiers. The man threw a bag towards him and hurried away. When he opened the bag, he found it filled with gold coins. He was very pleased.

So far so good………!!

Then the problem started. With money, came insecurity. The man started thinking, what would happen if some thieves came along. He was unaware that he was sitting under a Kalpavriksha tree; his every wish was destined to get fulfilled. Soon a band of thieves came along. The man thought to himself, “What would happen if they found the bag of money.” The thieves found the money bag and stole it. He then thought, “Now, they are surely going to kill me.” This thought, brought about his doom, and the thieves killed him.

After all, he was sitting under a Kalpavriksha tree, a wish-fulfilling tree.

Moral of this simple story:

This Universe is a Kalpavriksha, whatever we think becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Think twice before letting a negative thought or negative action enter your life ………..

If you think positive, your aura sends out positive vibes, ensuring positive results from the Universe. If you think negative, exactly the same happens. The Universe presents you with negative results.
